Private charter experiences
From a sunset sail for two to a celebration for a crowd, the right charter depends on the occasion, the group and the destination. Here is what each experience involves, and where it shines.
How it works
The experience depends on the destination
We help you find a private charter: the whole vessel reserved for your group, rather than a ticket on a shared tour. What is possible varies from place to place.
A whale-season cruise makes sense in Los Cabos or Banderas Bay in winter, not in Ibiza. A sandbar afternoon is a Miami or Bahamas classic. Some destinations have dozens of suitable vessels; others have only a few. And inclusions such as food, drinks, crew, snorkel gear and water toys differ from one boat to the next.
So we start with your occasion, group size and destination, then confirm which vessels can deliver it and exactly what each includes. Prices are quoted per charter, because they depend on the date, vessel, duration, group size and services you choose.

01 · Private yacht charters
Motor yachts for every scale of day
Private motor yachts range from compact sport yachts, ideal for couples and small groups, to large flybridge and superyachts with multiple decks, shaded lounges and full crews. They are the most widely available charter style across our destinations.
Motor yachts suit sightseeing, swim stops, celebrations and longer days, and they can cover more distance in a set time, which matters for trips such as Nassau to the Exumas.
Popular in: Cabo San Lucas, Miami, Nassau & the Bahamas, Cancún, Ibiza and Monaco.
Ask About Available Yachts02 · Catamaran charters
Catamarans for groups and swim days
With two hulls, wide decks and trampoline nets, catamarans offer plenty of space and easy access to the water, and they generally roll less than single-hulled boats of a similar size. Sailing catamarans add the quiet of the wind; power catamarans keep more predictable timings.
They are a favorite for snorkel trips, sunset sails, family days and celebrations, especially where calm, shallow anchorages are part of the plan.
Popular in: Cabo San Lucas, the Exumas, Aruba, La Paz and many Caribbean islands.

03 · Private celebrations
Birthdays, anniversaries and milestones
A private yacht turns a birthday or anniversary into an occasion. Depending on the vessel and destination, charters can include decorations, a cake, catering, a playlist and time at a scenic anchorage for photos.
Bachelor and bachelorette groups are among the most common celebrations, especially in Cabo San Lucas, Miami, Cancún and Nassau. Tell us your group size and the vibe you want, from relaxed to lively, and we will suggest suitable boats, always within local rules and the vessel's own policies.
Decorations, catering and photography vary by vessel, so we confirm what can be arranged before you book.
Plan a Celebration04 · Weddings & proposals
Saying "yes" on the water
Yachts and catamarans can host proposals, intimate ceremonies, vow renewals and wedding receptions. Larger vessels offer space for seating, a ceremony arch and dining; smaller boats are perfect for a private proposal at sunset.
Legal marriage requirements, officiants and permits depend on the country, so many couples hold a symbolic ceremony on board alongside the legal formalities ashore. We help you find a vessel that suits your guest count and plans.
Popular in: Cabo San Lucas, Cabo catamarans, Puerto Vallarta, St. Lucia and Miami.

05 · Sunset cruises
Golden hour, your way
An evening charter is one of the simplest and most memorable ways to enjoy a destination: drinks on deck, the coastline glowing and the lights coming on as you return. West-facing coasts such as Cabo's Pacific side, Aruba and Ibiza's west coast are natural sunset settings, and city skylines like Miami's and Cartagena's are spectacular after dark.

Matched to the right waters
Each of these is available only where conditions, regulations and local fleets allow.
Snorkel, swim & sightseeing
Calm bays and reefs where local rules allow, often inside marine parks with fees and mooring rules. Strong choices include Cozumel, St. Thomas, Grand Cayman and Cabo San Lucas. Cool-water cities such as Seattle and San Diego focus on sightseeing instead.
Sailing yacht charters
For guests who love the feel of a boat under sail. Classic sailing grounds include Antigua, St. Lucia, La Paz and Ibiza. Some sailing charters motor-sail depending on the wind.
Corporate & group charters
Team outings, client hospitality and incentive trips on larger yachts and catamarans. Group size determines the vessel, and in U.S. destinations Coast Guard rules shape passenger limits.
Whale season & wildlife
Humpbacks in winter off Los Cabos and in Banderas Bay, two humpback seasons in Costa Rica, gray whales off San Diego and stingrays in Grand Cayman. Viewing follows national rules, and sightings are never guaranteed.
SeasonalSport fishing
Dedicated sportfishing boats in destinations with strong fisheries, such as Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, Ixtapa–Zihuatanejo, Costa Rica and Punta Cana. Licences and catch policies are set by the operator and local law.
Multi-day & extended charters
Where sheltered cruising grounds allow, such as the Exuma Cays, La Paz, the Virgin Islands and the Riviera, longer charters are possible on suitable crewed vessels. Cross-border trips involve customs and immigration.

Experiences FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions About Our Charter Experiences
Are all experiences available in every destination?
No. Experiences depend on local waters, seasons, regulations and the vessels available. Each destination guide explains what fits there, and we confirm the options for your date.
What is the difference between a private charter and a shared tour?
A shared tour sells individual tickets on a fixed schedule with other passengers. A private charter reserves the whole vessel for your group, with timing and stops planned around you.
Can you arrange decorations, a cake or catering?
Often, yes, depending on the vessel and destination. We confirm what can be arranged, and what it costs, before you book.
Can we get married on a yacht?
Many vessels can host ceremonies and receptions. Legal marriage requirements depend on the country, so many couples hold a symbolic ceremony on board alongside the legal formalities ashore.
Is whale watching guaranteed?
No. Whale watching is seasonal, follows national rules and depends on the animals. We tell you the typical season for each destination.
Do you offer fishing charters?
In destinations with strong sport fisheries, such as Los Cabos, Ixtapa–Zihuatanejo, Costa Rica and Punta Cana, fishing charters run on dedicated sportfishing boats.
How much does a charter cost?
We quote each charter individually, because the price depends on the destination, date, vessel, duration, group size and added services.
Can we plan a multi-day trip?
In some destinations, yes, on suitable crewed vessels. Tell us your dates and route ideas and we will advise what is realistic.
Can you arrange a surprise proposal on a yacht?
Yes. A private charter can be timed for sunset and planned around the moment, with the captain told in advance. Flowers, photography and decorations depend on the vessel and destination, so we confirm what can be arranged before you book.
Are yacht charters suitable for corporate events and team outings?
Yes. Companies use private charters for client entertaining, team celebrations and incentive trips. Group size, catering and onboard facilities depend on the vessel's legal capacity and the destination, so share your headcount and schedule when you request a quote.
Should I choose a sunset cruise or a daytime charter?
It depends on what you want from the day. Daytime charters leave more time for swimming, snorkeling and beach stops, while a sunset cruise is shorter and centered on golden-hour views. Sunset times change through the year, so we time the departure for your date.
